SCUBA Diving in Dahab, Egypt¶
AATC is organizing two consecutive scuba diving trips to Dahab, Egypt in September 2024. You can participate in either one of them or all of them if you like. Both recreation and technical diving are available during each stay. You can also get training and certification.

You don't have to fly with us if you find a better airplane ticket offer from your location. We will meet on-site. Both recreation and technical diving are available during each stay. You can also get training and certification.

Note that the airplane tickets constitute 1/3 of the price. If you stay for two or three weeks, the price will not increase that much. Also, you can receive equipment rental and diving package discounts for longer stays.
This is a trip retainer, not a final offer legally speaking. This is payment needed for securing your spot during the trip and then paying for expenses.
The final price might differ. This is a cost estimation based on our trips to Dahab in October 2022 and February, March, October 2023. Note that some prices might differ. Currently, there is an exceptional exchange rate for EUR to EGP (Egyptian currency). Please be aware that the final cost might differ depending on airplane ticket cost, food, SIM card, insurance, etc. And therefore, you might be asked to pay some more. We do not anticipate that, and we do not want that, but this is absolutely beyond our control.
Only partial returns are possible. If we buy a plane ticket for you or reserve a hotel in your name, we will not be able to refund those costs to you!
Instructor¶
Matt is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and Hypoxic Trimix Technical Diver Instructor. He was awarded the PADI Elite Instructor Award in 2022 and received the PADI certificate of excellence for outstanding customer service and professionalism in September 2022. Matt is the lead instructor for EVA105 (Fundamentals of Underwater Analog EVA), EVA106 (Engineering for Underwater Environments) and the "Scientific Diver Course" for the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (formerly known as Project PoSSUM). He is currently involved in the development, neutral buoyancy, and parabolic flight tests of the Advanced Crew Medical Restraint System for commercial astronaut ACLS and CPR procedures. Matt is also a First/Secondary Adult and Child Care Emergency First Responder instructor.
